And here is The Peaceably Kingdom by the UMM Concert Choir. Note: This version is missing sections III & IV.

Ah, Peanuts.

Last week a few of us gathered at the wonderful William’s Peanut Bar. 300 beers on tap and free peanuts. What can be better? Nothing I know of.

Here are some pictures from that night:

I passed 8th grade math, again.

Could You Pass 8th Grade Math?

Just to prove that my high school diploma is still valid…I passed 8th Grade math again.

Bye, bye bench seats.

So the LTD is nearly dead. The brakes are shot and that is the last straw. So the search is on. I’ve hunted through CarSoup.com and now I’m looking at Auto Trader.

I did test drive a Volvo 940 Turbo, but I’m not sold on it. Check it out and let me know what you think.

The Long Awaited Update

Sorry folks if you’ve been checking back every day since the forum, but I don’t have any good photo to show off. So I’ll wait to see if I get any others from other members of the choir.

This past weekend was a visit to the old college town. Garrison Keillor was in town for the live broadcast of A Prairie Home Companion. Here is the link to the Real Audio:( recording on the web-site APHC.

I did take some photos from the envent and couple of them came close to being ok. I’ll put them up with some photos from the Stevens Co. Museum that had an excellent display of handy-work (knitting, needlepoint, etc.) It really was quite amazing display of local and national talent. Here is another link.

Thanks to all!

Thanks to all who attend Saturday and Sunday’s performances.

The concert was a HUGE success. I’ll have more details mid-week, but from my count it looked like we had ~80 people Saturday night and well over a 100 Sunday, maybe close to 150. It was a packed house at St. Anthony Park Lutheran.

Specifically I’d like to thank the inagural 14, those I invited who attended my first forum. Thanks to: Mom & Dad, Don, Debbie, Matt, Amanda, Bernie and Rita (Saturday’s Concert); Ken & Millie, Josh, Dave, Mike, and Anne (Sunday).

A special thanks to Matt for taking photos during the Saturday show. Hopefully I’ll post them later today.

And for those that are wondering, I don’t know who the winner of the stained glass prize are yet, but as soon as I find out I’ll let you know.

Thanks again.

One more thing…

Check out this live semi-transcript of what’s happening at the Macworld keynote. The webcast should be up some time tonight, around 8PM CST.

Next is a big event for me, but for not for most: the 20th Macworld Expo in San Francisco. The highlight will be the keynote address by Apple CEO Steve Jobs. UMM in Wikipeida

PZ Myers referenced the h2g2(the BBC’s Wikipeidia) entry on the UMM, it made me wonder what the Wikipeida had to say, so here is the link. I think we could add some information to this article.
